Why Citing is Important

There are number of reasons why citing is important. Good research improves your writing, but also makes you a better researcher and builds your research credibility! Our readers and teachers will know where we found our information, meaning that they can check and verify our sources, that what we are writing is accurate to its source. Most significantly, it credits the original author or creator, helping us to avoid plagiarism.
