NoodleTools Full Tutorial

Learn how to use NoodleTools effectively. This guide will show you how to generate citations, bibliographies, and create and manage your notes. NoodleTools can compose citations in MLA, APA, and Chicago/Turabian styles.

Exporting your bibliography

To export your references, go into your chosen project and click on the share icon. A drop down menu will appear where you can choose how you would like to export your bibliography, such as a Word document, Google Docs, or RTF.


A pop-up menu will appear asking you choose between all sources or selecting particular types of sources / tags. Once you click submit, your bibliography will be downloaded. If you choose to export as a Google Doc, NoodleTools will ask you to sign into your Google account.

Formatting your Bibliography

If you want to make modifications to how your bibliography looks and feels, click on formatting options...


This will open a side bar where you can change the title of your document, modify the page header, or choose to export file with only citations or citations and annotations.
