How to Create a Project

In this section, we will cover how to create a project.

Once you have registered, you can get started managing your citations. The first step is to create a "project". Projects in NoodleTools Full allow you to manage a group of citations for a particular project you have in mind. It's best practice to group all your citations for a specific project or assignment you are working on rather than placing all your citations for multiple different essays or assignments into one project. This will help you export your references into one bibliography.

In the example below, there is already an existing project titled "The History of Fake Video Games". Because the topic of this project is different, we are going to create a new project. Click the green button to create a new project.

A pop-up menu will appear asking you to name the title of your project. It will ask you to choose your citation style. Feel free to choose the appropriate citation style for your project.

Regarding the citation level, choose advanced.

If you change your mind about the citation style or citation level, you can always modify this setting later.

When you have finished making your choices, click submit.

To start adding citations, click the title of your project. It will take you to a new window where you can begin adding your sources.

And with that you've created your first project. To learn how to create citations / sources within a project, click this link here.
