Remote Access: Off-Campus Access

LibGuide for remote access

Logging in to your account

MMC's subscription library databases, electronic journals, e-books, Swank, and Kanopy can be accessed from off-campus by current MMC students, faculty, and staff. However, you need to log in using your OneLogin account.

When connecting to the Library’s e-resources from off-campus (remote access) login you will automatically be prompted to log into your OneLogin account using Multifactor Authentication. Subscription databases require that OneLogin be used. Non-subscription databases that we do NOT pay for will not require a log in. The following images beneath are an example of what you will see:

Why we do this?

The library has subscribed to databases that students use. OneLogin allows users to "jump over a paywall" when using electronic resources that are subscription-based. OneLogin applies to those resources that have been licensed and paid for by the library, such as Swank, Kanopy, JSTOR, and/or Academic Video Online.

Who qualifies for a OneLogin Account?

You must be a current MMC student, faculty member, or staff member.

In addition, you must have an active MMC e-mail account.
