A secondary source is any source that is created after the original event that references the original occurrence. Secondary sources help to analyze, criticize, interpret or summarize data from primary sources and can be made only after the original has taken place. Some of the most common secondary resources are books, journal articles, reviews of the literature, biographies, and critiques.
