What is Bloomberg?

The Bloomberg terminal is a premier international financial services database providing news and analytics for over 129 countries and 250 exchanges. Features include 24-hour historical and 15-minute delayed securities pricing in addition to news, data, and analysis on companies, markets and economies.Through a generous donation by an anonymous donor, Brooklyn College  Library is fortunate to offer access to 10 Bloomberg Professional terminals.

Usage Policy: Only current students participating in the Bloomberg Trading Challenge are permitted to use the terminal. 


Locations for Students: There is one Bloomberg terminal for student use on the lower level of the library.


Create a Login

Click on the Bloomberg desktop Icon

You should get the log-in screen below.

After you type Enter or <GO> select Create a New Login on the Bloomberg Professional home screen (below the general login box).

Enter your contact information. You will need to validate your user name and id using an email.

Enter your verification code that you received in your email
